Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-12

These terms govern your use of CloseCaddie. They are written in plain language on purpose. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

CloseCaddie is an AI sales copilot: a Chrome extension and web application that listens to the buyer side of your sales calls, retrieves answers from the knowledge base your team uploads, and produces action items and follow-up email drafts after the call. The product is in beta and changes frequently.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Accounts belong to the organization that created them. An org admin can add and remove members on paid plans.
  • You must be legally able to enter this agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. Call audio and consent

You are responsible for complying with the call-recording and wiretap consent laws that apply to your calls. Depending on where you and your buyers are located, using a tool that processes call audio may require notice to or consent from other participants. CloseCaddie does not provide legal advice; when in doubt, disclose.

4. Your content

  • Your knowledge base documents, transcripts and call outputs are yours. We claim no ownership of them.
  • You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: storing your documents, embedding them for retrieval, and processing call audio to produce answers, action items and drafts.
  • Your content is scoped to your organization. We do not use one customer's content to answer another customer's calls, and we do not sell it.
  • Do not upload content you have no right to use.

5. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful use, including recording or processing calls without required consent.
  • No attempting to breach, probe or overload the service, or to access another organization's data.
  • No reselling or white-labelling the service without a written agreement.

6. Plans and billing

The Caddie plan is free and has usage limits described on the pricing page. Paid plans (Birdie, Eagle) are not yet on sale; when they launch, their terms and prices will be stated at checkout. We may change free-plan limits with notice on the site.

7. AI output

Answer cards, action items and email drafts are generated by AI from your documents and the call. They can be wrong or incomplete. CloseCaddie shows a NOT SURE verdict when it cannot ground an answer in your knowledge base, but you remain responsible for what you say to buyers and what you send them.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost deals.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we delete your organization's content within 30 days, except where law requires retention.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site and the date above updated. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions: hello@closecaddie.com.
